Junghwi is a 2023 graduate of The Actors' Program. Straight from graduating, she has hit the ground running from performing a sold out season at Basement Theatre for Legacy 7 as part of Auckland Pride, followed by her first feature film role in the upcoming film Klara and The Sun directed by Taika Waititi - currently in post production. Most recently, Junghwi has wrapped up her season as Tinkerbell in Auckland Theatre Company and NightSong's Peter Pan. Junghwi also comes from a competitive background in a variety of sports, including representing New Zealand at the Dallas International Girls Cup as part of the NZSS U19 football squad.
