Amanda (Ngāti Hine, Ngāti Whātua) is an acclaimed Actor and Director. They have worked consistently since graduating UNITEC in 2012, notably in Silo Theatre's The Book of Everything and Revolt She Said, Revolt Again! They have also appeared in Shortland Street, Step Dave, The Brokenwood Mysteries and the web series AFK. Amanda's film credits include the NZ Tele feature Bombshell and Queen of Carthage, an international film shot in Aotearoa in 2012. Amanda won Best Actress at the 2014 Short and Sweet Festival, and in 2021 was awarded Best Performance in Fringe for their work in Uninvited. Amanda co-directed the web series Life is Easy, which was nominated for Best Comedy at the 2020 NZTV Awards and is currently a core director on NZ TV Drama Shortland Street.
